New Definition of Permanence

Representatives of the eight North Carolina counties currently involved in North Carolina's Familes For Kids initiative arrived at the following definition of permanence at their April meeting.

PERMANENCE: Every child needs and deserves a lifelong family relationship which promotes a sense of belonging that is legally secure.
